The room was spacious and well-appointed, with three beds and a separate seating area. The kitchen adjacent to the room was a convenient option for those who wanted to cook. The breakfast served by our lovely host was outstanding, with a variety of delicious options. The hotel had bikes available for use, which was a great way to explore the city. The location was close to downtown and easily accessible.

The location of this bed and breakfast is great, as it is situated in a quiet neighborhood near a park. Additionally, it is conveniently close to the train depot and the Alaska Railroad station. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with sparkling bathrooms and Frette brand bathrobes. The breakfast options are varied and delicious, including homemade yogurt with homemade rhubarb sauce. Guests can also enjoy the facilities such as the complimentary bikes and the large dining table for breakfast chats.
The only drawback is that the bathrooms are dated, but they are still well-maintained and clean.

I absolutely loved my stay at Anchorage Walkabout Town Bed And Breakfast! The comfort and service were top-notch. The best part was having access to a fully-equipped kitchen and a washer and dryer, which was a dream after my camping trip. Plus, the location was perfect - I could walk or bike to downtown and explore all the tourist sites. The free bikes provided by the B&B were a bonus, and I had a fantastic time exploring the bike trails around Anchorage. If you're heading to Anchorage, this place is an ideal choice! I highly recommend this B&B for a wonderful and cozy stay.
